Registration Fees
- Early registration fee $250 per boat prior to June 29th
- Entry fee after June 29th $300
The entry fee includes the captain and five anglers. All six members may enter fish.
The entry fee includes a two day tournament, Captains bags for each angler, Tournament T-shirt, Saturday BBQ, and Sunday Award’s ceremony and dinner.

Itinerary
Friday will consist of a captains meeting located at Dolphin Marina, located at mile marker 28 ocean side, beginning at 6:00 pm. Hors-douvers will be served and a cash bar is available from 6-8pm. A raffle for various items will be conducted during this time. At least one person from each boat must attend this meeting to receive captain’s bags and the rules and regulations for the tournament. The rules are subject to change at this meeting at the discretion of the tournament committee. All entry forms and fees must be submitted by the conclusion of this meeting.
Saturday Day 1 of fishing “Lines in” at 8:00 am and “Lines out” at 3:00 pm. The weigh station will be open from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Following the closing of the weigh station a BBQ dinner will be served.
Sunday Day 2 of fishing “Lines in” at 8:00 am and “Lines out” at 3:00 pm. The weigh station will be open from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A dinner and awards ceremony will be held at Dolphin Marina at 6:00 pm. Tournament winners will be awarded their prizes at the awards ceremony.
Rules and Regulations
- No hand lines or electric reels may be used, otherwise there are no tackle or bait restrictions.
- There are no fishing boundaries.
- All anglers must possess a valid Florida Saltwater Fishing License unless fishing from a commercial vessel that does not require such.
- Dolphin, Wahoo, and Black fin & Yellow fin Tuna are the only fish eligible for prizes. A fish may only be entered into one category. Only one entry per day per species per angler will be allowed. Anglers are urged to release those fish not to be entered. Please adhere to the size and bag limits set by the State of Florida.
- All fish presented for weigh in must be in fresh whole condition and caught that tournament day. Any fish over 25 lbs may be cut open after being weighed at the discretion of the tournament committee representative assigned to the weigh in station. Acceptability of fish will be determined by the Tournament Committee.
- Polygraph: The Committee reserves the right to require polygraph testing of any participant any participant who refuses a polygraph test can be disqualified at the discretion of the Tournament Committee.
- Fish will be weighed on an International Game Fish Association certified scale. Weigh in will be held both Saturday and Sunday from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the at Dolphin marina located in Little Torch Key. Anglers fighting fish at lines out must contact the weigh master on designated frequency, and must still adhere to the times of the weigh station. All fish must be weighed in by 5:00 pm no exceptions.
- All entries must arrive at the dock by boat and be accompanied by the angler who caught it. Captains are required to log in there time of arrival to the dock. This time will be recorded as your weigh in time. In the event of a tie in weight, the winner will be determined by the earliest weigh in time of both days.
- Any protest concerning conduct or rules violations must be filed in writing with the tournament committee by 6:00 pm Sunday with a deposit of $100. If the alleged violation is found to have occurred, the deposit of $100 will be refunded. If the Tournament Committee finds no violation, the deposit will not be refunded. The decision of the Tournament Committee will be final.
- No refunds will be given or substitutions allowed. In the case of bad weather, the tournament committee will determine whether the tournament should be postponed until the following weekend. One day of fishing constitutes the tournament.
- All participants in the tournament enter at their own risk. Committee members or other persons connected directly or indirectly with the operation of the tournament shall be exempt from liability from loss, damage, negligence, harm, or injury suffered to any participant, entrant, fisherman, their companions, boat captains, crew members, vessels and equipment which may occur during this tournament.
- Tournament Committee Boat will monitor VHF channel 78 A.
